Long John Silver's - Downers Grove

I believe that the only Long John Silver's restaurant is in a condition that we love their fish.

Ever since Long John Silver's closed in Hanover Park, we have been craving their food. However, after stopping at the location in Downers Grove off of Farnburg, we will not be returning. The other reviews were correct. My hunchback was overcooked and as hard as a rock, and I never received my hush puppies, which is a disappointment. Additionally, they did not offer any desserts. It would be better if they closed this location and opened a new one in Hanover Park. The greasy food was unappetizing.

I wish I could give this restaurant 0 stars. The customer service is terrible, and they fry the fish in the same oil as other foods. We asked for a different oil for dietary reasons, but they refused. They show complete disregard for their customers. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Great experience. The crew was outstanding. Food was delicious.

Downright PISSED OFF with this place. You can't walk in and eat inside. Only allowed inside for mobile ordering/take out. Sat in the drive thru for 10 minutes, WITH NO SERVICE OF TAKING MY ORDER. There's a line of 3 cars in front of me. At this rate... I would be for over an hour. I LEFT, DROVE NEXT DOOR AND WALKED INTO WENDY'S AND ATE. I left Wendy's 20 minutes later and the same car that was in front of me, when I left the drive thru, was still there and still had 1 car in front of them.
