Isabella Pizza Capri - Downers Grove

We had picked up food to go after a long day of baseball and a track meet. When we got home, all 4 of our orders were wrong. I called to complain and the manager BROUGHT OVER for new meals to my house!!! He was SO accommodating and so wonderful! I had hungry tired kids and when you open up the bag and find out your order is wrong....you just want to cry. Capri, in my book, is OUTSTANDING with customer service and customer satisfaction!!!

We just celebrated my baby shower here and I am blown away! I have taken my time to write the review, because I have so much positive to say, that I had to figure out how to say it all! First, the restaurant itself is gorgeous! So elegant feeling but comfortable, you feel like you are in an amazing family setting. The staff, where do you even start? How do you find such amazing people to work there? You can see this is a true reflection of how valued they are as employees as the manger there was the most outgoing, fun, and reliable person to work with! Nothing was ever in question the whole day or the entire planning process, they just handle what you need! Amazing, friendly, knowledgable and attentive team working together to give us the best experience, and they did! The food was beyond wonderful. I still have people calling me to tell me how outstanding the meal was, no one could believe the amount of food they got (more then I've gotten at most weddings! and every item was more delicious then the next! We had an outstanding bar selection, a lot of space to fit our large event and still feel comfortable and the ability to be creative and decorate as we wished, which is so hard to find with venues. I would recommend Capri of Downers Grove for lunch, dinner, drinks, events.. you name it, they can do it!!

I and my guests had the worst experience at this restaurant. We had a baby shower here yesterday and it was a disaster. The electric went out as we were welcoming our guests. Very disappointed as a happy event went to a very stressful and uncomfortable time. We went on with the shower thinking things would have worked out as we were told by the owner that it would be. However, it was 85 degrees in the place, no ventilation, they had no back-up in the kitchen and had to work on a camping stove. Food was not full portions, cold especially the chicken and people by this time were very uncomfortable and afraid to eat the food, Along with that a window shade fell down from a large window and hit the back of one of our guests. Besides the owner saying it was not their fault that the electric went out, he offered nothing else to else and was very rude. Not only this but there was no working emergency lights in the washrooms. It was totally dark. Throughout all of this, I was extremely concerned about the mother to be and many of our senior guests as many guests had to leave because of the situation. We have never been treated so unprofessional and rude by any other restaurant. All they wanted was their money.

Found Capri on Open Table. Had never been there. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience food, service (Dan), and ambiance. We will go back.

Very disappointed we had to wait over 30 minutes past our reservation time to even be seated. They seemed to be overwhelmed. Once seated, 10 minutes before a server approached us so overall set a bad tone for dinner......food good as usual.
