Margaritas Mexican - Dover

Omg the Taco Gigante Challenge... I could only eat 1/4 of my tacos! But my friend ended the whole thing. Every time we go the food, the waiting staff is great, and your dishwasher is not half bad!

We just ate here tonight for the first time and it was amazing. To be honest, I was a little hesitant after reading some of the recent reviews but for our experience those couldn’t be further from the truth the two seating hostesses were exceptionally friendly made sure we were taken care of right away and given a table we liked. I felt like both of their attitudes were sincere genuine which for us coming from Chicago (where everyone can be very snippy) was a nice change. Then came dinner our waitress was smiling from the beginning really put us at ease right away. We were discussing drinks she even went out of her way to ask for a sample of one of their new drink offerings so we could see if we liked it which meant a great deal to us. The Margs were really good, my husband I got the Raspberry flavor highly recommend. For our meals my Mother I got fish tacos and my husband got shrimp tacos they even gave him corn tortillas instead of the lettuce ones that come with that meal. Everything was so fresh, crisp flavorful. 10/10 for quality of food. Our waitress kept our other drinks topped off (water) never failed to check on us at appropriate times she was very intuitive. She made sure to offer us to come back again soon and hoped to see us again. I personally would ask for her service again when we hopefully go back soon. (We just moved here a day ago for the first time). I am always super honest with my reviews can be critical if I feel someone doesn’t want to help us (Ive worked many years managing in customer service) with that being said seriously these employees earned our collective admiration*. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to everyone.

Dover Margaritas is excellent! Clean, friendly, efficient and above all excellent food! I took my boys for lunch at Mother's Day. I forgot my left overs and gave them a call to see if I could come back and pick it up. The manager apologised that the table was cleared and my remains were thrown away. I totally understood it was my supervision. What happened next has broken my mind. The manager said he had a new meal for me to pick up for free! Talk about an excellent customer service. What an incredibly nice thing to do! Not many places take care of their males like Dover Margaritas! Thank you for the reason of my heart for your kindness and professionalism. I told all my friends about this excellent service. Thank you.

Pretty good. Coming from being a southern California resident for 40 years I can say I discriminate a little more when it comes to authentic Mexican food outside of Mexico. The margarita was good. The salt used on the glass was table salt but acceptable. I had fish tacos. Now fish tacos can be grilled or fried. I did fried. I also had corn tortillas. It was also good. Cilantro added would have brought it up a notch. Overall it was a good try and I liked it. The servers was great. It was busy and despite that, they were friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.
