My boyfriend and I showed up 7:00 on a weeknight and got a seat at the bar . We started with soup dumplings (yum! And pork dumplings (also yum! . My boyfriend doesn 't eat much so I got extra dumplings ????! He ordered the garlic soup, with shrimp, crab meat and scallops I believe? I got the Tonkatsu and man oh man was it good. Leaving and I wasalready planning our next trip! We haven 't stopped thinking about it since!! My only complaint was that they were out of a few things. Not that it really mattered because there were others I wanted to try. But I hope they can fix thissoon! I want to try it all!
My friend and I had the most amazing time here! We ordered soup dumplings, the leaf shaped dumplings, and xiao long bao to start, and we had to FIGHT over the last dumplings-all before we got our meals! The Hong tan-tan ramen was spicy and delicious, and the tempura udon with shrimp was salty and satisfying! This place has everything: good friends, good environment, good food, and good service! A big thank you to the staff, who were so considerate and friendly!
Absolutely spectacular! The flavors were wonderful and the portions were large. (My picky husband.. ah he won’t eat any ramen after his deployment in Japan and tasting Yokohama ramen…surprisingly enjoyed the Tan Tan noodles ?? . We had the 拍黄瓜 (smashed cucumber salad which is trending in China right now. It was fresh and savory at the same time. I really miss Asian cuisine and I love it here
Definitely a fantastic restaurant! Nice decoration, nice service! Every dish we ordered is delicious! I recommend!
Delicious, authentic, top quality food! I'm from CA (SF Bay Area) aka Foodie Heaven where we take our food very seriously...and when Hong Noodle first opened, I seriously cried tears of joy. And there are truly very few things in this world that can make me cry, with the obvious exception of most Disney movies (because, let's be real, you are 110% a psychopath if you don't ugly cry at least once while watching Up)... In summary: Hong Asian Noodle Bar, you are truly a godsend. Bless you and all your noodles.
