Bonzai Pan Asian Kitchen - Douglas

I highly recommend the aubergine katsu curry, as mentioned in another review. The tofu cashew nuts dish was also fantastic. We visited on a busy Saturday evening during Easter weekend and had to stand at the bar with our food. The staff was very helpful, especially with the intermediate dishes served at the bar. The "WG" on the menu indicates vegan options, which was great to see. There were plenty of other menu choices as well. We didn't take any photos because they would have been the same as the ones already posted online.

Just a heads up, the restaurant has relocated to Sefton at Harbour Lights. We went during their move week, so the menu was a bit smaller. The aubergine katsu was fantastic, and the curry of the day and maki rolls were also very tasty.

I have been a loyal customer at Bonzai for some time now, and ever since I became vegan, they have been able to accommodate my dietary needs without any hassle. The food is always delicious and the flavors are truly amazing! They offer a variety of healthy options, including traditional Asian dishes. The vegan dishes are exceptionally tasty, and I never feel like I am missing out on anything. I highly recommend visiting Bonzai, especially for their crispy coated aubergine with tamarind - it's my favorite! This review has been updated as of August 18, 2021.

Like the selection of beer and enjoyed a mosaic 5% al. as with other reviews I have read, great prices higher than other pubs in which I went.

Excellent beer. not too loud. interesting food options (indian). some traditional bar games. modern furnishings. but distracting tvs that show sport with the noise. but expensive drinks.
