Larry's Real Pit Bar B Q - Dothan

This place is disgusting. The food is horrible. It’s never clean when I go there, and the meat is always raw. I have personally witnessed the OWNER taste testing food with a spoon and after it being in her mouth she put it BACK in the food to be served to customers.

OMG. This was by far the worst portrayal of barbecue I have tasted. There is no taste of smoked flavor, the ribs are tender, no bbq sauce. It's real pit alright. #RealPit-a-ful

I noticed on Google that my review has gotten a lot of views, and I smiled as I looked through the photos from other patrons. I visited Mama's two weeks ago, and we always order the three-meat plate with baked potatoes topped with sour cream, cheese, and at least two BBQ sauces. I'm completely addicted to their fried squash as well! My portions are always consistent with the three-meat plate from Larry. I also enjoy the hamburger steak special, which looks amazing in the other meals I’ve seen. I’ll be sure to provide an update when I try something new!

I travel frequently, and I always make it a point to visit this place! The food is fantastic, and the service is excellent. Larry's BBQ is amazing! I always make a stop there...

The drive-thru service was awful. I waited 14 minutes before I could place my order, and the cashier was quite rude.
