Il Golfo Cantinetta - Dortmund

I was here for dinner recently. I ordered cannelloni while my partner ordered a pizza. both were quickly brought out, although I received a lasagne instead of the cannelloni I ordered. no problem, although it was delicious. really enjoyable eating, I would come back.

Great eating, great wine, but what makes this restaurant special is the typical Italian atmosphere. the owner and the personal are from italy (most of them) and they are always greeted with a big smile (and a grapa ot two)

For lunch. the food was a great part of the pasta. I had an ugly brussetta and a big pilger. would be a lot of choice

We are waiting for our pasta. hour after we have ordered this. hopefully it will be delicious.

Stranded at this restaurant by chance, location is on a side street next to the central station area. Terrace outside was full, so we got seated inside. Wooden classic tables and no type of decoration give an anonymous look to this place. The classical opera...music just add an extra touch to this already cheesy place. Foodwise, half of us got a pizza, some pasta's and one went with a salad. On the salad, luckly, you gan not go wrong. My pizza was pretty bad. Holes on the dough all around, overloaded with oregano, and cheese, not mozzarella. Overall, not a good pizza. Drinks are branded discount supermarkets and clearly showing on the bar, but you can expect to pay full price (exception made for the wine). I might come back, but for now I wont.
