Sandbanks Beach Club

The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with excellent food, and our room was beautiful—clean, spacious, and with wonderful views. However, what really detracts from this hotel’s four-star status is its outdated condition. The carpets in the corridors were dirty, and there was a tear in the sofa in our room. The lifts are also far too small for wheelchair use; I had to lift the back wheels of my husband's wheelchair into the lift due to the lack of space, and if he had needed any more assistance, I would have had to carry him up the stairs. I cannot recommend this hotel if you are traveling with a wheelchair user. It's such a shame because the location and staff were excellent.

The reception staff could not have been more helpful ! They were wonderful. Our rooms were upgraded for free when they heard we were having a childhood reunion. The location is perfect and I will be back as soon as possible!

Apparently islets being redeveloped as flats , which explains a lot . “Soulless” is the phrase I would use . Nice enough rooms but not for 180 per night … aging building and facilities . Lacking nice finishing touches . You can’t run a tab and have to pay as you go . Pool are was ok and well used with lots of families Access to the beach Plenty of parking But it’s the cost … over 900 for two rooms for two nights with breakfast . Indoor pool was shut . Unlikely to reopen I suspect . I was expecting something far more refined. A real shame as the location is fantastic and the views are great .

We come here a couple of times a year. Location is special. Service is great! However the internet was down in the hotel and in the area generally.
