The qualities of Baker Freese have already been met in neighboring Esens when I think of the big breakfast. Here in Dornum, right at the water castle where a school is set up, I assume that it serves as a school baker, otherwise there is no one far and wide. I'm sure there are many things going on, we were lucky that we were in the autumn holidays. It was quite lonely in this corner, very idyllic in the old village center. Outside some tables, here you can sit nicely with a view of the castle, inside a small back counter, also some seats, very cozy and beautifully decorated. There is also a small selection of food that fits perfectly, as the big markets are all to be found outside. The baker alone stood behind her shop table, so we had to take a coffee and a pancake with her. It was nice here.

Beautiful small café in a quiet side street. Delicious cake and East Friese. Good operation. The prices are completely ok, cakes are made themselves. You should take a break. The ducks are naughty, they're whistling.
