I noticed this restaurant on ChowBus and when I saw it was close, we went along. It's in a small complex. Only one or two other people were there when we left, and the woman who took orders did not speak much English, but the menu is simple and we could easily order. The hot and acid soup is enough for 4 people. It is a very mild hot and acidic being neither hot nor sour, but vinegar, chilli oil and five spices are at the table we appreciate. The soup wounded to be delicious and I appreciated the ability to tweak my preferences. The kebabs come in two forms a skewer grilled over coal and the other with the ingredients fall into a hot chilli-based soup broth. We enjoyed everything. I think my only real complaint was that nothing hot and sharp in the description was hot or sharp. Overall a good experience!
Very authentic homemade style Chinese cuisine. Large emptying, cool dish (Pig ear, potato slice, seawead), lamp soup, hot pot and “hot sharp string class”. Friendly service. Visit regularly once a week.
I've been coming here for years. IF You are cool with authentic domestic Nordic cuisine, this place is great. One of the few places you get a satisfying meal for under $6. If you are looking for American Chinese start, this place is not for you. I always get her malatang where you can choose up to 10 ingredients. Their dumplings, stick meat, pasta dishes are also quite solid. The chief lady is very friendly and accommodating. Be patient as they only speak English, which can be perceived as rude. But not the case at all!
This hot pot just the same as what I had in Beijing. My boyfriend is from Beijing and he also highly recommend
