Donnybrook Hotel

This was actually one of those really nice country pubs.

12 months ago i would have raved about this place The steaks were huge and delicious, which was a common theme throughout their menu.

Entree'- Cheese Bread- was very tastyMain- Porterhouse 700grams - Ordered Medium-Raw, came out very well done, very tough and I couldn't eat it.- Manager agreed and asked if I wanted something else...I said NO..and my money was refunded.Drink - lemon/Lime/Biters ...tasted horrible , I had 2 sips and couldn't drink the rest.My Friend had a Chicken Parma- and gave it 6/10 and he said the Coke drink was flat. You live and learn... its the first and last time that I will eat at this Hotel

We had a variety of meals. Chicken Parmegana, Donna chicken fillet and fish & chips. The serves were large, probably larger than we preferred but some would be pleased and welcome the larger serve. The quality of food was good and service excellent

We have a Christmas get together every year here for the past two years. Friendly staff, service is good and food is reasonable and good as well.
