Asked if they could do a vegan version of the veggie breakfast and was told yes, but our breakfasts had fried eggs on them when they arrived. Transpired afterwards that our server didn’t actually write that we wanted vegan breakfasts on the docket, just wrote “veg breakfast”. Very few places in the area but would definitely not recommend here.
I was told the the quinoa burger and dahl were both vegan but when I actually read the menu the burger came with mayo and a brioche bun so the only way for it to be vegan is to have a burger with no bun. Not ideal. The staff need to be more aware of the difference between vegetarian and vegan and the actual ingredients in their dishes.
I went there to get a full Irish vegetarian breakfast. You have to request to get the vegan version of it but it was still okay. The atmosphere is cozy and funny. There is also dairy alternative for coffee and tea. Updated from previous review on 2020-06-19
I ordered the full Irish vegetarian breakfast and while they should consider adding a vegan version, it was still delicious. The atmosphere is quaint and charming, and they offer milk alternatives for coffee and tea as well.
