Tickhill Chippy - Doncaster

Called on for lunch had fish chips and curry first class food quality and taste superb lovely staff service was great definitely my new go to Chippy

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I purchased three fish meals at 5pm and was displeased to find that the fish appeared to have been reheated from earlier. The batter was hard, the fish was dark in color, and had a unpleasant smell. This was not the quality I was expecting for the price I paid. Although I no longer live nearby, I will not be returning to this establishment.

Visited the chippy in Tickhill for the first time in over a decade. The chips were nice enough, but the mushy peas were little more than marrowfat peas in green water. Nothing like proper mushy peas at all. Room for improvement there.

Every other Saturday we get four fish and a large chips. The staff are very helpful and polite and the Fish and chips are fantastic. Also try the chicken Kabab

I recently revisited my hometown and I am pleased to report that the chip shop is doing exceptionally well. I visited three times - first with my family for a delicious small cod and chips, crispy and flakey fish with great chips. I returned twice more for some late-night southern fried chicken and then a chicken kebab. Each meal was not only great value for money, but also incredibly tasty. The friendly service was also perfect.
