A robot with an electronic cat face, came out singing Happy Birthday and delivered sweet treats with lit candles, so mum was able to blow them out and make a wish All of our dietary requirements were met without fuss. The styling of the place is fabulous all luxury ArtDeco. Loved it.
Very lovely time, cocktails and ambiance was great, decor fantastic. We had lunch 2 courses starters amazing and very delicious, we had pork belly, scallops, and garlic mushrooms, (bit dry, large portion, and lots of breadcrumb topping). Mains courses were a bit expensive for what we got, (fish pie macaroni cheese) . Macaroni cheese was a bit bland, with a very dense/heavy breadcrumb crust on top, which made the dish very dry to eat at £15/16, as was the fish pie, and the brocoli (only veg accompaniment) which was very salty. One of our group had the pork tomahawk steak which was very tasty, well presented, and had loads of side accompaniments. Too full for desserts, but we had coffees hot chocolates in the front bar, along with complimentary birthday surprise of a remote robot singing happy birthday with mini cakes ! Wonderful touch !! Overall, we will return again for an afternoon tea as they looked very nice as well.
Wonderful service food and atmosphere, attended for my birthday with the family including a toddler and a baby.
The restaurant wasn't too busy on a beautiful Saturday. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food as it wasn't anything special. The Thai Curry was too watery and tasteless. The kitchen staff made excuses and deducted some amount from my bill. I'm sorry, but I won't be returning to this restaurant.
Clean, helpful staff, good food and service. Really nice furnishings.
