Shank Wing’s - Dolton

I wouldn't recommend ordering from this place. It feels more like a home-based operation. On December 6, 2023, I decided to try their wings based on the positive reviews. Since I had never been there before, I went to place my order in person. However, Google Maps directed me to a residential home. I called the number listed to confirm the address, as I suspected Google was mistaken. When someone answered, their greeting was casual, “Yeah, hello.” I asked if this was Shank Wings, but there was a lot of noise and music in the background, so I repeated my question. The person then hung up on me. I called back, and the same person picked up again with “hello.” I asked once more if this was Shank Wings, but she was distracted by someone else and said, “Let me get back to you,” before hanging up again. By the time she reached out to me, I was already on the expressway heading home to Indiana. It’s frustrating to have a business tell me they would call me back. Unfortunately, this experience reflects a lack of respect for customers, which is disappointing, especially from a Black-owned business.

The wings are a must-try, and the Alfredo is fantastic. The owner is very friendly, and I definitely recommend giving the food here a try.

This is the best place for wings! The shank sauce is truly amazing—I highly recommend it!
