However, our order was not ready until 12:30, causing frustration among our group and disrupting our schedules. It was an hour late from the promised time. When we called to inquire about the status of our order, the management was rude and unprofessional. We recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs. We rate this as the worst restaurant in DDO, ranking it at #95 out of 95.
Tandoor et Grille serves up a wide variety of Indian/Pakistani dishes Pros: Big seating area Wide selection of dishes, including balti, tandoori, and pakistani specialities nihair, haleem) Ample parking area The complimentary green and red sauces provided with the meal were some of the best...I've seen in Montreal Nan Breads were also pretty tasty and fresh Nihari was good but i've seen better in Montreal e.g. Dera); The spice level seemed to be solely due to the addition of chili powder Food was prepared in a reasonable amount of time 20 min) Cons: Incorrect prices on takeout fliers left at the front of the restaurant. Flyer listed a dish at $10.99 when it was in fact $12.99; when this was spotted after paying the bill, the cashier nonchalantly stated the menus are out of date. Why not correct the takeout menus and/or remove them altogether? The chicken tandoori was bit too mushy for my liking Prices are slightly higher than other similar restaurants in Montreal. I would be interested to revisit to try their buffet once indoor dining is allowed)
I really enjoyed the food. The butter chicken was amazing. the Naan bread super fresh that we ordered more towards the end. their soups are always delicious. I been going to this restaurant for a few years now. I was never disappointed, staff are friendly....I recommended this restaurant to a few of my friends and they like it as well
The chicken, lamb kebabs, and king prawn curry are all very delicious dishes at this restaurant. The Fish Pakora with special sauce is a unique and must-try item on the menu. The Daal Makhani is a classic Indian dish that should not be missed by anyone!
Jan. 25th 2020 What an excelsior gastronomical experience 'Tandoori Grille ' 4690 boul. des Sources, D.D.O. A cold, joyless winter 's night 'spiced up ' with delicious, moderately piquant grilled tandoori chicken, served piping hot on a lovely iron grill with freshly baked sesame nan bread! Savory, super...tender chicken cooked to perfection. When I commented on the excelsior cuisine, the supervisor Gagandeep Kaur Billing, invited me into the kitchen! Spotless, immaculate, pristine convey the essence of the kitchen, replete with two deep cooking furnaces. Chef Rana, lovely, amicable demonstrated how the different specialty items are created. In summation, a delectable dinner $20. including taxes tip! Spacious, warm, affable, great cuisine should not be missed! Marlene Slotin international journalist [hidden email]
