Dairy Queen (treat)

We chose a lovely day for ice cream and headed to DQ, only to find ourselves waiting in a 40-minute line. The wait wasn't due to an unusually large crowd, but rather because the line moved at a snail's pace. Unfortunately, the service was painfully slow. To be fair, there were only three employees working, and two of them were new. Even the one seasoned employee appeared to be somewhat inexperienced. I sympathize with them; they genuinely did their best, but they were clearly overwhelmed. This location seems to be under-staffed and unprepared for the demand. It raises questions about why an owner or senior manager wasn't on-site to lend a hand. If things don't improve, I'm worried about how they will manage during the summer rush. The only reason I can’t give this place just one star is that the sundae we ordered was actually quite good.

My family has been loyal customers at this location for years, but after tonight, we won't be returning. When we got home with our takeout order of four Blizzards, we discovered a piece of metal in my daughter's Blizzard (as shown in the picture). When we called the store, they admitted that the Blizzard cone was damaged and falling apart, suggesting it should have been replaced. Additionally, one of the Blizzards with Cinnamon Bun pieces was completely inedible—the pieces were hard and tasted spoiled, like dirt. This raises serious concerns about food safety at this establishment. When I requested to speak with the manager, I was told she was unavailable and that my only option was to leave a Google review. I sincerely hope she sees this because there are significant issues that need addressing.

I had a fantastic experience tonight thanks to Kevin! He is a super positive and well-spoken young man who provided excellent service.

The service was extremely speedy, and I didn't have to wait long at all. The staff was friendly, and the blizzard dessert was fantastic. I was surprised at how large the small size was—I barely managed to finish it!

The woman at the counter was very rude. This is an ice cream shop that caters to families, so they really should provide better customer service training.
