Nidaaya Crowne Plaza Doha – West Bay

Thursday night is seafood night in this restaurant. The buffet is of course a fixed price. It has a reasonable selection of cooked dishes that are pleasant if not exciting. I especially liked the mango shrimp salad and the baked lobster tail. Their cold options were less attractive. In my opinion, cold shells will always be disappointed. The oysters were a Bland variety. Sushi was below average. My assessment is exactly what I expected for 200 QAR: a moderately delicious buffet with solid, if not inspired recipes served in a restaurant with little ambience. Not a destination for high food, but for the price, excellent value.
