Rappahannock Oyster At The Wharf

Everything was great! The oysters were the best we had while in D.C!

First time visit and it was great. We sat outside and had a fabulous time. Waitress was great. One of the owners was walking around talking to customers so nice vibe !

Atmosphere is great.... Order 2 crab cakes meals. 20 minutes later they only brought out one. Another 20 minutes after my wife was done with hers my came out . We told the waiter when ordering we both wanted the crab cake.. food was ok. Sauce was spicy and the greens that came with it had a weird flavor to them. First time to the wharf, awesome area. Food is pricey.

The oysters, the peel-and-eat shrimp, the tuna tartar— all so fresh and excellent! And a pretty good value, considering the quality seafood. I love eating on the patio, which has open doors to the outside but also a roof, in case it's raining. I go here/will go here every time I visit Washington. I can't recommend it highly enough!
