Cafe Craft - Dishpur

The location of this restaurant was disappointing and depressing. We came here for lunch and found a beautiful spot by the river with only 4 tables inside and a few outside. The heavy smoke smell inside made it difficult to stay, so we opted for a table outside, where we were bothered by mosquitoes. Despite being the only customers at the time, it took an hour to receive our two chicken burgers and drinks. The mango shake we ordered was flavorless and the burgers had mayo despite our request for none. The food was mediocre and the service was extremely slow. We do not recommend this place unless you enjoy waiting a long time for subpar food.

We went on January 1st. It was calm and peaceful in contrast to traffic on the road. The food is excellent. The service is also good.

I visited this cafe last weekend and it was a pleasant surprise to find such a place in guwahati. The exteriors really gave me a good feel. The cafe is on the 1st floor of the house and the stairs leading up were nicely decorated...with masks and artifacts. We preferred to sit on the roof top open air part of the cafe. I really liked the whole ambiance. After looking at the menu, there were not too many options to choose from, so we ordered the non-veg Arabian platter and 2 sweet lime soda. The prices were pretty much ok, as it cost us 500 bucks. The platter presentation was very nice, taste was average, quantity i felt was a bit less. Lime soda was ok. Overall, it was a nice experience and can be visited for a cup of coffee or light brunches. I guess evening time would be more suitable to visit the cafe, as it was decorated with lights, but I missed it as we went in the afternoon.

Cafe Craft is a cozy lazy cafe well decorated with masks and artistically painted kettles. The sit out in the balcony is spacious & colourful. Food is reasonably priced and served in good quantities.I tried the Chicken thukpa and the fish in lemon butter sauce. Both tasted amazing and were filling for a lunch meal.They also have a little studio room selling hand crafted ceramics and other arty things.Good place to visit to sit back and relax.

WE went on the 1st of January. It was quiet and peaceful unlike the traffic on the road. The food is excellent. Service too is good.
