Umami Room Olive Tree - Dipolog City

I was delighted to find such incredible and delicious Japanese cuisine in this town.

The food was amazing, and the service was outstanding!

I used to visit this restaurant regularly with my colleagues and we were always pleased with the food, ambiance, and service. However, I recently took my family there for lunch and noticed that the place is in urgent need of some aesthetic upkeep. The curtains above the cooking station looked like they hadn't been cleaned or replaced since the restaurant opened, the window blinds were chipped, the paint and counters were dusty, and the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool. I hoped the food would still be good, but unfortunately, it has declined along with the overall quality of the establishment. In hindsight, I wish I had chosen to eat at Toninos on the ground floor instead. Of all the dishes we tried, the Bento Box was the most disappointing.

The Japanese cuisine at this restaurant is outstanding. The tempura and sashimi are prepared with fresh ingredients, and they offer an ice-cold beer that pairs perfectly with your meal. I sampled the inaniwa udon, and it was absolutely delicious—a must-try!
