For a long time, I haven't felt so secure and well-resolved. During my last stay in DIN I have breakfast several times in Schollin. It is very central to the Old Market in a historic building that has been very skillful and interior architecturally modernized and updated. Probably the house was completely degenerated and refurbished, after which something was trimmed in old fashion and equipped with chic furniture. In summer you sit on long benches at rustic wooden tables outside the door and meet Hinz and Kunz. In winter, the two-storey interior with spacious half-high tables and bar stools on the ground floor, as well as the slightly more intimate and quiet area on the upper gallery invites you to return. From the gallery you can see well down into the shop and have the colorful driving always in sight. Since, however, the upper windows often have to be opened for ventilation purposes, one has to do with the dove ply. Certainly unpleasant in summer... But now in late autumn the climate was quite pleasant and the rising heat from the furnaces in the EC could be compensated very well. Very convincing in the Schollin is the super friendly, warm, individual service. Mostly there are two ladies on the counter who sell, serve, bake and arrange. This requires nerve strength and resilience, but this is obviously a prerequisite. The ladies always had nice words for the clientele, many of which come regularly and are known. I was also patiently answered on all questions, explained a lot in detail and always brought a cordial smile. Sensationally, I find the breakfast package here. Ordered at the counter in self-service manner. Complete breakfast is then placed on a small tray, according to a special system. For some unskillful customers or people with limitations, however, wearing the tray is quite diffizil – balancing to the upper floor is just excluded. On the gallery, the small tables on rustically trimmed small tables are also partly too uneven to securely position the entire dishes there. I'm guessing there's something going on here more often. Lastly, I had the classic breakfast for unbelievable 3,90 Euro: two rolls (a simple, a grain bread), four supplements by choice (I have limited myself to cheese and jam), a packed portion of butter, fresh greenware such as tomato, salad, cucumber and a cup of coffee. Capuccino or Macchiato are also available for a surcharge. On a wooden counter there is milk, sugar, mustard, lemon juice so much you want, nicely packed in portions. A seasonal tester will be glad to be served, with me last a fresh stollen bag with marzipan, orange and lemon, which I found so tasty that I then bought a whole bag of it. Breakfast variations are fresh and executed with great devotion. Colorful, modern dishes are used. The rolls are absolutely fresh and crisp. I personally found the coffee portion a bit small, so that you sometimes need a second serving for breakfast – or the more extensive cappuccino (35 cent extra). The coffee specialities are also to go, then on request also in a carrying device, which is accepted here by the existing companies and companies. Another time, by the way, I chose the cheese breakfast, with the crumble fresh cheese and the beautiful fruit decoration especially noticed. My cousin sometimes just takes the French breakfast with a buttery croissant, which is enough for the quickest and the cheapest arrangement. The Schollin has quite great cakes and particles, mostly the portions are huge and of considerable freshness and taste. The shallow and scattered buttercake makes my own special mouth. I have also recently tried the simple spray bag: it is sold by weight, constantly freshly baked and tastes very delicious between or to the afternoon coffee. I liked the huge table in the EC with all the published daily and weekly newspapers, as well as the ad sheets and magazines. This is where all customers really listen to a large table and so sometimes talk to each other. Only the half-high bar stools I find somewhat uncomfortable when sitting longer, because without a backrest.
