The Fried Green Tomato - Diberville

Pretty good south kitchen buffet. We went on Friday, so the special area was Wels and Grotten. The catfish, roasted green tomatoes and spicy fried chicken (and the very delicate livers/gizzards, so I say everyone had amazing bread, remains crispy and tasty on a buffet. (How? Small salad bar and dessert bar, much average to decent traditional south sides (not that we all tried them. Overall a pretty good lunch for $13 (drink included in a sweet little place. But I think that next time I will get my food for $7.99, as I rarely find myself in the need of a second plate at the buffet.

I had the catfish and thought they were really good! I would have liked to have twice as much grotto and would like to have seen it play with the fish on the grottos (but I'm sure others prefer it). My husband had the sausage breakfast Burrito and said it was good (he rarely does, so take this with a grain of salt). Cute decorations, loved the metal-pail lights! Service was excellent! Would definitely recommend.

Really good, reasonably priced food served in a clean, friendly environment. Big portions and Great Service. Eat where the locals eat.

Fried Green Tomato is a hidden gem in Diberville. They are only open from 6am to 2pm! It’s a great lunch spot! They have a true southern buffet setup! Gumbo to the crispy fried chicken! You do not want to miss out!

Southern comfort food buffet.. Fried chicken.. Fried pork.. Baked chicken and pork chops. Of course fried green tomatoes. Great service and cozy.
