Tasty Momo is at the end of a small strip of shops and only seats about 30 (so book ahead). From the outside it doesn't give many hints about the tasty deliciousness inside. We visited a week ago and were so impressed that we grabbed the rest of the family and came back again on Friday night. We ordered across the menu (goat, lamb, prawns, koftas, dumplings, rice, paneer etc) and every single thing on the table was wonderful. If I had to single one out it would be the boneless barbecue goat. It was tender, smoky and amazing. We also had a few people at the table who were not very adventurous in their normal eating habits, but they loved it as well. There is something for everyone on the menu. The staff were also genuinely happy and service was prompt. It makes such a difference to the experience.
Highly recommend you try the momos here. We asked the waitstaff if we were able to mix the 3 varieties of vege momos and they were able to do 2 varieties (half serves) which we thought was very accommodating. We could have easily had a few serves of these as they were that good. I have been dreaming about these since we visited :). We also ordered the poleko mushroom ra cheese but this was average. We could not taste the cheese or the tomatoes and coriander filling. The service was good and the decor of the restaurant was nice and bright.
Lovely fresh food. Wonderful and friendly service always. Tasty dishes and the staff gladly repack what you cannot finish into takeaway containers. Just the cheapest and freshest cuisine with parking out front. We will continue to visit.
We used to go here a lot when it was just called Momos and even though it didn't have an extensive menu and was exclusively Nepalese the food was awesome and tasted great and the service was great and friendly. On a recent trip to the resturant after it changed hands we where more than disappointed by the lack of taste (and we ordered a lot of food). It was bland, fatty and not worth the money we paid! I love curry - and even more a day or two after - but we threw the left overs in the bin! This place is around the corner from us and I am beyond disappointed that they cant make a good tasting curry - it isn't that hard!
Our group of four gals arrived on a quiet night, so there was a glut of empty tables.
