Enjoying Hong Kong style steam chicken, roasted duck, beef stew hot pot, and Chinese stir fried broccoli. Delicious! The service staff were attentive and kept on refilling my Hong Kong style lemon iced tea without asking.I recommend trying this restaurant.David YoungRestaurant Enthusiast
This restaurant serves the traditional Chinese dishes. Would be good for a family get-together as your parents will enjoy the old time cooking. There is plenty of parking. Prepare for Wait time at lunch. There are waiting seats which help with older folks. Dinner is less crowded. Prices are on the high side. Be prepared to spend. You will enjoy a delicious meal though, with fast waiter services.
This restaurant lives up to its name. Simple no frills Chinese style comfort food at good prices. Lots of varieties, although I wasn’t able to find the typical won ton on their menu. With all the food we tried there wasn’t any dish that was subpar. Even the simple curry fish ball had good taste and flavorful. Their Roast Pork skin was crispy and not too dry. House Special Stir Fry vermicelli hit all the right notes, and their beef chow fun was done with minimal oil. Wait staff was busy but still attentive as they kept our HK Style milk tea and other drinks refilled. The beef stir fry udon had a good blend of flavor, and the chicken wings (although came later in the game) was one of everyone’s favorite.
Breakfast is good, a big bowl of porridge and a sandwich for $15 is not bad as it is good enough for 2 people. And the food is good. But for lunch, it is expensive. We ordered 3 items, plus the 2 milk teas. Our total with tax and tips came us to be $72!! I thought it was bit much. The food for lunch was just average. Nothing special. The service, though, was good. Above average for a Hongkong style cafe. The men waiters were very attentive. They catered to your requests right away.
Just got done eating at this very interesting Chinese food restaurant. The ambience was quite interesting. Very open space, but still had a lot of tables and was quite quaint . The menu had a lot of very interesting dishes that you normally do not see at other Chinese Restaurants. For instance they sell a soap call Chicken Ginseng soup. The chicken fee and chicken they cooked in the soup was the Black Chicken. Very popular in Asian countries. Soup was very medicinal as I had a slight cold all week and this did the trick . A little on the expensive side but still worth coming aback to from time to time! The Shrimp in Black Bean Sauce was extremely tasty and was gone in 60 Seconds. Yes do recommend this place especially just because the menu offers such interesting dishes that you probably never heard of. I have heard of them as I am quite familiar with Chinese foods that is not only traditional but also untraditional. I do recommend this place for lunch or Dinner and make sure you are hungry that way it will be easier to be more adventurous and try different dishes you have never eaten before. God Bless, and have a great holiday season!!
