Old Barn - Dial Post

Visited the old barn for my mother 90th birthday mama chose the place so that she knew it was good. Karin in the old barn reacted to numerous emails to facilitate the trip and send us the menus so that we could order the food before. karin was so helpful and ensured our visit from the isle of wight to meet mum, went without a clink. the day leah, our waitress was superb, looked at us all so well (thank you) and eating was all as good as the service. a day to remember. Thank you.

Excellent place, lots of bargains today! Cafe is lovely and the food is great. Being a bit of a coffee fan I must say they use decent coffee and it was an enjoyable setting in there. I would recommend highly a visit. The staff are all very friendly as well...

We had our first visit today and it was fantastic! We went to the café/restaurant and both the food and service were excellent. Everything was spotless, and there was a wide variety of options available. The children's meals were served in generous portions, which was great. Outside, there is a lovely small playground that the kids really enjoyed. There were also seating areas surrounding the play area, which will be convenient in the summer. The garden center offers more than just plants and gardening supplies! We will definitely be coming back.

The restaurant offers a great variety of indoor and outdoor spaces, as always. During my last visit, it wasn't too crowded, and I found the layout to be very spacious and well-designed. There haven't been many updates in the indoor plants area in the past few months. I would recommend visiting every couple of months if you're looking for something new.

I had a wonderful afternoon at Old Barn Nursery, which is now a beautifully transformed place following its recent takeover and much-needed refurbishment. We visited to pick up some plants for my baskets, and I was pleased to find they were all in excellent condition. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance; it's consistently clean and staffed by friendly employees who are always eager to help. We decided to stay for lunch, which turned out to be much better than what I've experienced at some other restaurants. Paul, the manager, even came over to say hello, remembering me from a few years back when he returned my car, which I greatly appreciated. I’m looking forward to returning for another visit soon!
