Beer Grotto Dexter

We came here since it opened first. Always enjoyed beers and staff. It's a clamp in Dexter!

The food is okay. Sandwiches usually on point, but the dressing are badly executed. For a salad of 14 dollars, I expect the dressing to be delicious. Waiting for food is sometimes too long. The service is also immaculate. When someone sits greetings are often cold, no one offers a menu. It's almost like looking at you and asking why are you here?

Comfortable location, had a brown and a Cuban. Good food and atmosphere. I recommend! Cheese

Eating here is subpar. I had a super fat BLT with undercooked bacon. Side of Mac and cheese was watery and bland. Chips were decent, well seasoned. Somehow on Sunday for lunch/night, they were from chicken wings and fries that... you're a pub, so how do you not have them available? You also have chips, but not chips? Where are the chips from? Nachos were super basic and the Queso had a strange, fine texture. The Veg nachos come simply with strange Queso, a bean sauce, salsa and acidic cream, no vegetables such as onions, tomatoes or salad. Your cocktail menu is underwhelming, although they seem to have a decent beer selection. Service was terrible. Food took out forever, and we finally had to go to the bar to pay for our bill after we had asked. There are only a few places open in Dexter on Sunday it seems, so... maybe you're going to Ann Arbor? Especially for what they charge here.

Good variety of beer, cool atmosphere, had the southwest chicken sandwich and it hit the spot. Will visit again
