Sirvida - Dewey Beach

Margarita review only Didn’t get any food. Some of the best margs you can get anywhere.

Note: The restaurant has rebranded and it’s now called “Dewey Eats”. We walked into the restaurant around 8:15pm on the Sunday night before Labor Day. Every other restaurant was packed with full lines — this restaurant was empty. However, the one waiter working and the bartender were absolutely friendly!!! We were immediately hesitant and did not want to eat here because one they mentioned the rebranding (never a good sign) and the restaurant was empty. Alas, we felt bad for the staff though especially if they had not made tips. We sat down and we ordered the chips trio with red sauce, guacamole, and queso. It was rough. Everything lacked saltbadly. The red sauce had no flavor, the queso was grainy and gross, and the guacamole had no salt. The chips were also going stale. The Diet Coke lacked syrup and the margarita was alright. Okay, the main meals were also a bit disappointing. The portion sizes are a bit small for the price. In comparison, the carne asada was $19 with a lot more rice, beans, and meat than a $16 taco platter. Again, everything lacked salt and had no flavor. We ordered the Tinga tacos. Nope. We also ordered the steak tacos. Nope. We ordered the asada. Nope. Do not recommend — but the staff was amazing!!!! I feel bad for them cause they’re genuinely nice people. Oh — also they sell egg rolls haha! The Mac and cheese one was good!!! That’s why we bumped up the rating one star. We feel so bad because everyone is working so hard but the food was not great.

You all have to check this place out! As a Mexican food enthusiast, I've tasted some of the finest, but this restaurant stands out from the rest! The food is absolutely delicious, and the customer service is fantastic! I just had the most amazing carne asada; it was to die for! Seriously, you need to visit before everyone discovers this gem! Scott was an outstanding bartender and host. When we return, this will be our first stop!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, and I highly recommend it. The service was excellent, and I enjoyed a delicious lunch. The price per person was quite reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20. It's definitely worth a visit!

I arrived at the restaurant at 6:40 on a Saturday, but they were closed even though their hours indicate they open at 4.
