The meat platter was visually appealing and the curries were delicious. However, the Kolkata fish curry did not have the authentic Kolkata curry flavor. The gulab jamun was tasty, but the middle portion was extremely hard, requiring us to use a fork and knife to cut it. Overall, the experience was okay.

The food was delicious and I will definitely be returning. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff is friendly but seem inexperienced due to their young age. The layout of the restaurant makes it difficult for them to keep track of all the guests. However, we were served promptly when we arrived early. We will definitely return in the future. The restaurant allows customers to bring their own alcohol.

Bollywood by Night in Devonport is a charming restaurant that I, as a local, thoroughly enjoyed. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient. This was my first time dining here, but I will definitely be returning.
