La Voute Saint Yves

We came as a full family to enjoy a nice diner before Christmas. We enjoyed a private room and got a perfect dinner. The choice of menus that allows you to chose what you want according to your wish was really well received by us. The food was delicious and the service great. Thank you very much for this great evening.

First of all the restaurant is beautiful: a stunning house in the typical style of the region. The service is perfect. The waiter was 100% accurate and professional - it has been a while I have not had the pleasure of experiencing a great servicing. And last but not least the food is just superb. The menu has a selection of exquisite and fine dishes (I think that the fact of not having long menu options is a good sign as food is fresh). The chef is amazingly good: we had Saint Jacques with lobster with a purée of celeri trufe as main dish, which followed a great dish of langustine and which proceeded an amazing cheese composition(cooked with some bacon). The famous French fine cuisine, impossible to describe but just worth experiencing. Prices are fair considering how fresh food is and the excellence of the chef. Menus varied from 33 to 46 euro or so. We will make a detour to go again!
