Nicks Gaslight Lounge - Detroit

My friends and I came late on a Friday night into this bar. we were not greeted or greeted when we were sitting in the bar and they were not busy at this time. as one of my friends inquired about the Juke box, staff member steve replied to an extremely rude wise! there were other uncomfortable words that were spoken by this fellow worker, who made us feel very unwilling, this led us to all having to go! I have never experienced this type of treatment in the city detroit. I was very angry and extremely disappointed, that was my first visit to this so-called real establishment and my last! I will spread the word and encourage my friends and colleagues not to apply this institution. steve should be fired as he treats the patrons. there is no excuse for his behavior. none! signed, never again

I've lived in Detroit my whole life only 26 years But I never went here until recentlyAndI'm in love with it nice quiet cozy. Perfect for any outing whether it be a nice dinner or a quick lunch, and the food is soon delicious I called the owner just to let him know.

Comfy neighborhood bar. Kitchen was closed when we were there so I'll have to go back some other time and try one of their burgers. Steve served up a couple of nice cold ones. Lions crowd had already left so it was nice and quiet when we were there. Definitely dig the old school charm and the big vinyl booths.

Expected to be verbally abused. Highly disappointed. The Churros were good though/

The menu was too small to read easily. It would have been helpful to have a larger menu displayed out front for customers to view.
