Motown Coney Island - Detroit

I was hired as a cook and left almost right away. This was by far the dirtiest kitchen I have ever seen. There was spoiled deli meat, rotten hash browns, and four-day-old bacon that was clearly past its expiration date. The owner seems to have no knowledge of or regard for food safety or quality. The head cook was drunk by 11 a.m. Overall, this place is a disaster. But if you don’t mind serving your family spoiled food, then by all means, go ahead.

The corned beef was overcooked, and the added mustard made it overly salty. Overall, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5.

Wait staff has become extended family. They welcome you. Service is great, food is always hot and awesome.
