Leo's Coney Island Express - Detroit

This frequently happens at this restaurant - we ordered chili cheese fries, but they made chili cheese fries instead. After reordering, they made the same mistake again. I don't understand why they put cheese on something that doesn't need cheese.

Do not dine at this restaurant. I ordered the fried chicken on my first visit and it was undercooked, with batter still on it. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, thinking they were busy and in a rush. However, on my second visit, I ordered two plain hotdogs and they were clearly microwaved. I could tell because that's how I used to cook hotdogs as a kid. Highly disappointing.

I placed an order over the phone and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. However, when I arrived at the express Coney Island restaurant, I found out that my meal had not been started until I got there. There was no seating available while I waited for my food to be prepared. Despite the lack of customers, the cashier seemed to assume I would tip her by keeping my change from a $20 bill without asking. I was disappointed by the slow service and lack of professionalism.

I was pleased to find that my craving for the Veggie Hani (Pita) was satisfied at this restaurant. The filling was delicious and only cost 6 dollars. The quick service was convenient, as the restaurant is connected to a gas station. I will definitely be returning.

The servers were pleasant and the hot dogs were delicious, but the wings were cooked in oil that was burnt.
