Geisha Girls - Detroit

Geisha girls wasn't someplace I had heard of before. I was hungry at the riverfront park one summer day and saw their menu. The rolls sounded interesting with a southwest Detroit roll, sushi tacos, avocado bomb and about 3 boards of options plus daily specials so I placed an order just expecting nothing special. It took a bit longer than I expected as there wasn't anyone on front of me but I usually wait for sushi unless they have some prepared so not too unusua I guess Now, the sushi was pretty which isn't something I usually notice. And the rolls were really good,the SW roll was just my thing. They have traditional rolls sushi tacos, avocado bombs, sushi with tempura inside, etc. I've been here about 4 times. You'll probably wait longer than they say but its fresh made and good.

We love Geisha Girls sushi! Appreciate the delicious vegan options and the beautiful craftsmanship of the rolls. They look and taste phenomenal.Vegetarian options: We were happy to find vegan options including a spicy tofu roll which is so gooood.Kid-friendliness: We have seen kids here enjoying the atmosphere inside or the park right outside.Wheelchair accessibility: There are multiple ways to wheel in if needed.

Over an hour for just two rolls of sushi. Food was just okay. Costed way more than it was worth. Guy who served us really just rubbed us the wrong way, not sure why.

We love Geisha Girls sushi! Appreciate the delicious vegan options and the beautiful craftsmanship of the rolls. They look and taste phenomenal. Like folks have mentioned there is a wait to receive the food. I believe it is because there is one woman making everything. We have been twice and enjoyed it each time because the view and ambience with the DJ playing is great. We have also ordered drinks and made an outing out of it. If you are very hungry and need to eat quickly you may be disappointed but if you want good food and have some time to relax its really enjoyable. We were very satisfied.
