Mcguire's Sunset Deck - Destin

The food was outstanding! The entertainment while we waited for our table was fantastic! We frequent this place, but it was our first time hearing Meg Phillips perform tonight! We ordered the Molly cut and prime rib, and both were cooked to perfection. Our server was exceptional!

Michael Brandon was an outstanding waiter during our visit. We were part of a large group that included six kids, and he made fantastic suggestions for them. He provided coloring pages and crayons, and even offered tips on how to share root beers. The kids were captivated by the dollar bills and the restaurant's decor. The food was delicious, and the service was impressively quick, especially given how busy it was. We will definitely be returning, and we give both the restaurant and our waiter a five-star rating!

The food is fantastic, and the wait to get seated isn't too long. The service is incredibly helpful. There’s plenty of money around.

2. The ribs were awful. They slathered on so much sauce in an attempt to cover up how overcooked they were. The meat at the ends was inedible. 3. The chicken Alfredo was simply unappetizing. 4. The fried items were decent, and the salad was good as well, but they really douse it in dressing. 5. The alcoholic drinks were diluted. I’m disappointed to say that this place has lost its appeal and now feels like just another tourist trap in Destin. As a local, I brought my family here during their visit, and it was a letdown. After a two-hour wait at 5 PM on a Thursday, this was not the meal we were hoping for.

Anyone visiting Destin knows that McGuire's Irish Pub is a popular spot for delicious food and a lively atmosphere. We tried the Fish and Chips, some amazing burgers, a massive filet, and an even bigger Reuben sandwich. We also had a pretzel that was as big as a trash can lid! This was our second visit, and we truly enjoy the ambiance, the excellent service, and the generous portion sizes.
