The Cottage Too - Desert Hot Springs

We stopped here every morning on our trip, everything we got was great. We had the same waitress everyday, Adriana, and she is FANTASTIC. We had an order mess up and she came out with a dish to replace it that ended up being better than the original. Great place, good food, nice location.

Very quaint little place, the food is delicious, especially the pancakes, and it gets very crowded..but worth the wait!

Food is mostly really good. On occasion it?s been backed up and food was cold, but overall a good place for your basic comfort foods.

Finally good steak and eggs from a diner! I feel this is becoming a lost art ?. The steak was actually medium rare and eggs were overeasy, and there was an option for biscuits and gravy instead of toast. Plus a side of tasty home fries, all for under $20. Note the New York Steak and Eggs does not refer to NY Strip, seemed to be a sirloin but it was delicious for a sirloin indeed. Classic diner vibes. Strong coffee. Exactly what I was craving.

My fav breakfast spot in Desert Hot Springs. Found this Gem through Yelp ???? . Definitely reminds me of being back home in Michigan. Customer service: The customer service is outstanding. I personally don't require much once you have brought me my meal. Being a past restaurant manager I understand alot more and am considerate when the place is busy. The waitstaff is always smiling. Food; I've had 2 different Mexican breakfast huevos rancheros chiliaquiles . For the huevos rancheros I was asked how I wanted my tortillas, never been asked that before. I actually like that. Both meals were so tasty. Could I make this at home yes, but it's nice to go out. Ambiance: A small restaurant with a family feel. A tad hot in the height of summer, but worth it. I almost forgot the pictures on the walls of celebrities. Overall: This restaurant is worth a try, many times ?? over.
