Wendy's - Des Moines

LaVonda is the best customer service representative I have ever encountered in any fast food restaurant! I'm not sure if she’s a manager, but she certainly deserves recognition for her exceptional customer service and leadership skills. She is incredibly friendly, highly focused on customer needs, and always goes the extra mile to ensure satisfaction.

I had a strong craving for a big, juicy burger, and this one definitely satisfied it! The experience was quick, the ingredients were fresh, and the food was delicious. I ordered through DoorDash, and the timing was exactly as promised. The meal cost under $10 and came with fries and a drink. I had never considered Wendy's as one of my go-to fast food burger places, but after this experience, that's going to change!

The coffee is perfect, though it's worth noting that they don't have packets for cream and sugar, so they add them for you. Fortunately, it turned out just right. They also offer a Frosty Iced Coffee, which tastes pretty much like you would expect. They have both vanilla and chocolate options, though I'm not entirely sure if they use their actual Frosty in the coffee—it certainly has that flavor. I wasn't particularly impressed by it, but that doesn't mean others won't enjoy it.

The food is well-prepared and delicious, and the service is friendly and welcoming. It's definitely a great place to eat. However, the lobby is closed, so you'll need to use the drive-thru.
