This bar in Des Moines is a hidden gem that is no longer so hidden. It has a cozy atmosphere and offers impressive cocktails. I will continue to patronize them in the future.

The atmosphere is trendy, the outdoor seating is top-notch in Des Moines, and they take just as much care in crafting their non-alcoholic drinks as they do with their cocktails. Whether you're indulging in alcohol or not, you'll surely love your beverage at this establishment.

The Bartender’s Handshake is one of my top favorite cocktail bars in the Des Moines area. They have an amazing atmosphere along with great staff. The drinks are wonderfully crafted and taste fantastic every time. My go to are the espresso martini and the pisco sour. If you have never tried either of them, highly recommend to try at The Bartender’s Handshake for a great first experience.Parking: There are a few street parking spots located in-front and across the street from the location, as well as, on the side streets.

One of my favorites in DSM. The vibe can’t be best and their cocktail program strikes the right balance between inventive and comfy. A gem!
