Ted's Coney Island - Des Moines

Had the Diablo-Talloin, very good. Onion rings and pumice were also good. Fries were almost like McDonald, but fresh. I want to try the gyro next time. The staff was nice. Would definitely go back.

I wish I had taken a photo that Tenderloin was so golden brown, moist on the inside. I sat my way, no onions with all the other spices. Friends to die. It really needs a 10, keep it up, I will definitely go back to go Ted and Crew

Even though there are several Ted 's Coney Island locations, this one is the original. Lightning fast service some of the best gyros you will find in the Des Moines metro without question. Consistently good traditional gyros with fresh ingredients, that will definitely leave a lasting impression. I 've probably eaten at Ted 's 50 times or more, and they never disappoint.

Love this place. I try to visit it everytime I am back in Des Moines. I always get a gyro with feta. They offer a basket option that comes with fries, onion rings, and coleslaw. There is a piano outside you can play. I am always surprised by how empty this place is every time I visit but they must get busy because there are always plenty of staff.

Great prices and fast service good spot for if you need something on the go. Not too crowded for dinner, either. However the quality of food was not fantastic, the only item that really stood out to me was The Coney (which I highly recommend! . The fries, onion rings, and fish sandwich were below par. But still, give this place a shot if you wanr something economical and fast!
