Simon's J Benjamin's - Des Moines

We visited Simon's to celebrate receiving an award and a friend's birthday, and we had reserved a table for eight. The service, food, and atmosphere were exceptional, and our out-of-town friends were thoroughly impressed. We consider Simon's one of our go-to restaurants, as it consistently delivers outstanding experiences. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

As a first-time visitor, I absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was incredible, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend trying the manicotti for your entree and the Mediterranean cheese as an appetizer. Make sure to arrive early, as there will likely be a line! Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars.

Everybody raves about Simon’s. The reason is that the food is absolutely delicious, the place is cozy and the owner and staff are genuinely interested in great service. We got there at 5pm to find 30 people in line on a Tuesday. We were all seated within 10 minutes and had drinks and appetizers in another 10. Food shortly thereafter. I had the lamb which melted in your mouth. The appetizer and dinner salad were both delicious as well. The wine we had, Bonanza, was also buttery. Can’t say enough about how good the food is. May be the best kitchen in Des Moines or anywhere for that matter. Sorry I forgot the photos, but check their site. It is as advertised.
