Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse Des Moines

Appetizer came out and sauce was cold. Waitress didn't check to see how Appetizer was. My steak was over cooked. My wife's soup was cold once again no one came to check. I used to love this place but obviously something has changed and not for the better. Won't be going back

It was for my birthday. Our steaks were cooked wrong, I ended up switching with my spouse. Also I thought as in previous visits that a dessert was complimentary, we paid for. This visit out of all the times we have been there was not the greatest

The silverware were unnecessarily huge. The food was good but nothing spectacular. The staff was great, constantly checking up on us. The lighting and atmosphere were very comfortable. Not noisy at all. Wasn’t a fan of the music taste though. Nice restaurant but the food is overpriced. Overall our date went well.

Camille took great care of us. She was professional and engaging without being intrusive. We were celebrating our anniversary. I didn't tell her but did tell then on the reservation that we were celebrating an anniversary. time there that we've note a special occasion on the reservation that isn't acknowledged at Johnny's. Our food was delicious. The wedge salad was the best wedge I'd ever had. Lasagna noodles a bit overdone, filet and lobster Rockefeller and creme Brule were delicious.
