Hummus Mediterranean Grill - Des Moines

For those who love Oasis in Iowa City or Amsterdam Falafel in Omaha, this restaurant is a perfect middle ground. Located on a cross-country drive, it offers high quality Mediterranean dishes such as pita, hummus, and falafel. The ingredients are fresh and the falafel is made in-house. The meats, including chicken and beef shawarma, lamb and beef gyro, and chicken gyro, are well-seasoned and of high quality. The pita bread is baked in-house using stoneground winter wheat. What's not to love about this place?

The staff at this restaurant is extremely helpful and the food is fantastic.

This is a great spot to get a gyro! All of the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. I would recommend the chicken gyro to anyone looking to try this for the first time.

Ate at the Jordan Creek location last week. It was so good! The gyro was amazing and the meat was so tender and seasoned so well. Their sauce is also amazing! I highly recommend you give it a try.
