Bubba - Des Moines

What a fabulous restaurant! Beautiful spot for a date night and lots of room for big groups, Bubba is good for everyone. I sat at the bar and enjoyed the attentive attention for the two bartenders who, despite being very busy toward the later evening, took time to ensure everyone's needs were met. The crab cake salad was delicious and plentiful, and the apple pie had the cinnamon cranked up to 11. I absolutely plan to return to Bubba the next time I'm in Des Moines.

Called on Mother’s Day, was able to accommodate 12 people last minute. Been here before and their food and drinks are always on point!Always has their service on point and saved us a lot of headache for a last minute schedule change today

The chicken was melt in your mouth. Brought back memories of my mom's chicken. The vegetarian beans &rice so good.

We had a great experience at Bubba's. Our server was Lilly V and she was very good and great with our toddler. I had the Dr Pepper ham and the other family had the chickenx (2) and Cajun shrimp and grits. For appetizers we had the bread basket which was awesome The corn muffins melted in your mouth and the peach marmalade was delicious. Only comment was I wished we could have had more butter and jelly. We also had the Mac bites which was tasty. I didn't try the dip as I don't like jalapenos. Over all a delightful experience and everyone went away full and happy. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Everything was great. It was the weekend and prom night. So it was a little busy and service was a little slow. Otherwise everything was great. We're definitely coming back.
