A&w - Des Moines

I loved this place, but the quality seems to have really gone downhill. Today we ordered a large root beer freeze and asked to mix it thinly. it was not really mixed and the cup was not filled all the way. as 2 inches deep. we also have cheese curds. they were boiled badly enough that the whole cheese was melted from the broth and burned. the only saving gnade was the hush puppy, but also the were wrong. we ordered 12. they gave us two. How does anyone hear two from the word twelve? I wasn't happy today.

Dry cold hamburger (papa burger) cheese shortens cold and really solid. possibly the worst hamburger in the moines ia

Dined in at 6:40 pm tonight did not get my food until 7:15 and my kids food came ever later. Whatever all is good. Then immediately after I leave I barely make it home before I blow my entire toilet up. I could not get home any faster. Employees are your typical young fast food employees who hate their job/life and hopefully have future goals that can save them from giving horrible customer service.

Horrible tasting A&W root beer was served in the drive thru never will I return
