8 Degrees Cafe Boba - Des Moines

The macaron and the chocolate tart are both quite firm. The other mixed drinks (I had the Oreo chocolate sludge) felt a bit powdery and aren't worth it compared to the tea options.

I discovered this place during my travels in 100-degree weather with no air conditioning. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed by the efficiency of the facility, with ordering and payment handled through a kiosk. I placed my order with one of the two staff members. The décor was beautiful yet simple. I enjoyed a mango smoothie with black boba, while my companion chose a strawberry banana smoothie with boba. The portion sizes were generous, the drinks were very cold, and they were beautifully presented in plastic cups with re-closable lids. I would definitely return if I'm in the area and in the mood for some boba.

The smoothies I tried were absolutely delicious! Just thinking about them makes my mouth water. They are truly the best smoothies I’ve ever had. I can't wait to try the Lil-Boba with the juice next—though I have to admit that I'm more excited about the actual boba! I'm sure it's amazing!

Without doubt this place is my absolute favorite Boba place. I don't know why, but 8 degrees is just elite when it comes to their boba quality. I usually get the signature milk tea with 50% sweet and black pearls and it always manages to make my day better. the opposite is perhaps not the best, but 8 degrees is an absolute gem! the inner and inside is clean and well maintained and it has a great atmosphere. they have self-service kiosks with a large selection and pictures of all drinks, so they don't have to talk to a server unless they want what is a plus. overall, about the many paints I've never been here in quality, and they stay my favorite Boba joint all the time.

It has a neat atmosphere. My first time eating matcha ice cream and red beans. It was interesting but realized it's not my cup of tea. That's just me. But they have different varieties of Boba teas and other caffeinated drinks. We sat out on the patio in the front. All in all a good experience.
