Capriccio In Pembroke P - Des Moines

Just want to thank Mario and the entire Staff for making my Son's graduation celebration dinner a huge success last night... Service and Food was top notch... God bless them all...

We were a group of five who had dinner in the lounge on August 24th. The place was absolutely packed, yet we were so pleased that our table was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. We had a combination of dishes that included Arugula salad, salad Capriccio, pasta (which was perfectly cooked) with shrimp and scallops, Veal Mediterranio, Veal Capriccio (very tender) and Salmon Radicchio. We finished things off with a couple of decadent desserts to share. The chocolate mousse cake was just amazing. Considering how busy they were, the service was good. Frenchy did a nice job as our main server. The restaurant itself has been around for over 30 years and obviously has a reputation that is second to none. Very old school in décor which works well with the beautiful Italian ambiance that this venue emulates. Everyone in out party agreed that Carl Evans is just a fantastic entertainer and he was the main reason we chose to dine in the lounge. He covers every genre of music, takes requests, sings beautifully and plays piano with great finesse. There was a lot of dancing throughout the evening – our table enthusiastically participated later on. We had a blast! Overall, a very memorable, enjoyable night. We will definitely be back in the near future!

Excellent food. Fried triangle mozzarella is a must. Steaks, seafood and pasta are all delicious doesn't matter what you get

The restaurant is so cozy and romantic, the ambiance, the service and the food quality is absolutely delicious!
