Piedaniels - Derbyshire Dales

During our weekend in Bakewell, we dined at Piedaniel's on both nights. The menu was diverse and intriguing. On the first night, we enjoyed the sea bass and halibut, both of which were excellent. The following night, we savored the duck and lamb, both expertly prepared and delicious. The sauces accompanying the dishes were particularly flavorful. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend Piedaniel's and would gladly return if we find ourselves in Bakewell again.

10/10 to the chef team, the food was perfect. However the restaurant atmosphere felt funereal and all female fromt of house lacked presence and personality. A good restaurant experience can't just be the food. Need change here !

Four of us went to Piedaniels to celebrate a birthday. Between us, we had rack of lamb, sea bass and duck breast. We also had a selection of sweets, which were all beautiful, but the crepes served with a flaming liqueur stole the show! The whole thing was just divine and, as usual, all cooked to perfection. I'd recommend this place 100%.

Every meal we’ve eaten here has been superb. A family run restaurant which serves some of the best food I’ve eaten. The service is friendly we are always made to feel welcome.
