There was only one staff member and one staff so they had only opened a limited number of tables glad we booked. The menu was limited but the food was lovely and we really enjoyed it and the lady serving was very friendly and attentive despite being on her own and busy. A lovely setting.
Not extensive, not fancy, but delicious food, nicely served at reasonable prices. After a day up and down the peaks, this was everything needed. And lovely friendly staff. Thanks. Needed that!!!!
We had our wedding meal at the Coach House after our ceremony in Ashbourne. From the start of the planning process to when we left last Friday, the staff, the chef and the building exceeded all our expectations. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodated all of our requests and even decorated the space (which they gave us exclusive use of). The food was absolutely amazing! You gave us a day to remember and we can’t thank you enough!
Visited for Sunday lunch during a stay at Sandybrook. Overpriced £70+ for one course adults x 2/two course kids x 2, plus drinks) and bang average. Exploiting the captive audience they have at the holiday village. Tried to order takeaway on a separate night at 7.30pm after the kids had gone to bed and we had nothing in, and were told by the laughing waitress on the end of the line that they weren't doing the takeaway menu as the restaurant was busy. This despite advertised hours as Mon-Sat 5pm-8.30pm. So add inconvenient to their list of achievements. If they didn't have the captive audience of holidaymakers they would go out of business in a week.
Had Sunday evening meal. Best roast beef dinner ever, dog friendly and good beer. Staff are very friendly, a bit pricier than the norm but well worth the treat, excellent food.
