This small restaurant/cafe serves thoughtfully inspired, well-presented, and delicious meals. We tried the Dahl and it was fantastic, equal to any we've had on our travels. We even had a spontaneous chat with the talented chef who whipped up some Brussels sprout Bhaji, a new item he was experimenting with - they were so good, we encouraged him to put them on the menu. Definitely worth a detour or a visit in its own right. Thank you, Andrew and Karen.
Although it may have new management, this restaurant is definitely still open and just as good as before. I tried the wild mushrooms on toast and it was fabulous. My mom had the Homity Pie (yes, they still serve it) and my daughter ordered the Sausage Roll with salad and homemade vegan coleslaw. We all enjoyed some cake for dessert. I highly recommend this place.
