Upper Manning Gorge is **** beautiful It is located behind the MtBarnett Station halfway along the Gibb River roadAccess is through the Mt.

Wouldn't stay here again. Dirty, dusty (moreso than any other site on Gibb River Road), toilets and bathrooms were not cleaned regularly, very little shade with rubbish around when we stayed. Very disorganized, with most campers not happy.

After a warm reasonable trip on the Gibb, coming from Kannura, it is wonderful to relax in Mt Barnett road house. There is a shop, cold drinks and very expensive diesel. We are yielding over $2.05 per liter. In Derby it's only $1.40 so we don't fill up too much. Of course too much because you don't take any risks. We eat delicious sandwiches with lots of ketchup. It is a nice accommodation and a wonderful resting point. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Filled up with fuel.Bought a number of items . ALL out of date not by a few days but by months. Even a tea drink out of date by a YEAR.Over priced and my advice is check the use by dates. Clearly the stock is not being managed

I had a hamburger recently at Mt Barnett. Rates in best 2 hamburgers I have had in past 36 years. Enhanced by wonderful coffee. Such a pleasant find in such a remote location!
